Description:  We managed to beat the WB to Manchester. It helped that they're down to around 10MPH in order to navigate through the yard. This is the Rt. 21 overpass (now gone). Today's FGLK (Ontario Central) crossing at grade would be to the right. The photo lines are out in force. Recognize anyone?

Description:  Leaving Manchester yard. Photo taken from the Rt. 96 overpass (gone today). The train is on today's FGLK (Ontario Central) alignment. The "zig-zag" (under around the 8th through 12th hoppers) existed for most of the Ontario Central's tenure. Note also the yard has been cleared recently of bad order cars and MofW equipment. The lone yellow boxcar is probably local traffic. Payne cemetery is out of view to the right.

Description:  This is the last Manchester-based local crew leaving Victor. It's been a while, but I **think** they were working a Tu-Th-Sa schedule in this direction. I spoke with the crew earlier in the day at the Maple St. crossing. Had I been thinking, I would have offered to take a "last run" shot, but I wanted to set up for this shot and didn't know how much time I had. Too bad. Today is Tuesday 3/30. The same 5-man crew will reconvene for Thursday's run, but it will be out of Geneva as a Conrail DO operation. Manchester is gone for good.
