From the former NYC Auburn Road at VI (turned to the left, looking to the north [roughly])
Another view of the connector as it heads into the village and the LV. Since it didn't exist in the LV era, there wasn't an LV name for this spur. In the ONCT era, we referred to the lower lead as the engine house lead and the top of the hill as, well, the top of the hill.

Tom OToole General This did exist when the LV was here. The connector was built when the NYC tear up the Auburn Road from Pittsford to Canandigua 4/12/2020 1:06:39 PM
Christopher Smith General I don't believe that to be the case. The NYC abandoned Pittsford - Victor around 1960 and served Pittsford from Rochester and served Victor from Canandaigua. My understanding is it remained so until the advent of Conrail. When the connector was built (late 70s I believe), that enabled VI to be served from the former LV (via ONCT), which obviated the need for the former NYC Victor to Canandaigua, which was abandoned soon after as there were no other customers on that line. 4/12/2020 3:04:44 PM
Christopher Smith General Update: The connector was built in 1978. 4/20/2020 12:11:26 PM
