Description: |
Now lnoking west toward Plains Road and an answer to an LV trivia question: Did the rear markers on LV cabooses flash or were they on solid? Well, on at least one, they flashed - as evidenced by the red "dots" in this open shutter photo. |

Mostly TOFC, and the red "flames" are the reflections off the trailers. Probably an Apollo or Mercury. |

LV Rochester Jct. at night - 1 of 4 |
Description: |
I arrived at Rochester Junction one qate afternoon and waited and ... nothing, so I grabbed the tripod out of the car and set up for this shot. Unfortunately, the camera was loaded with GAF 200 and not Kodachrome, so the grain really shows up. The view is to the east. From right to left, the siding/lead to the Hemlock branch (I'm sjanding in the gauge), the controlled siding, and the main. The small yard is far left, out of sight. |

Now we have action, but it's too dark for anything other than something like this. Four Alcos (can't you tell?) on the lead. |
