Title:  C&O GP30 3012 on today's local - pic 1 of 10
Description:  March 1975 approximate - could be 1976. I left the car in the Latta Lea golf course parking lot and walked over to find C&O 3012 and B&O 3542 picking up a couple of empties out of Greece Lumber.

Title:  C&O GP30 3012 on today's local - pic 2 of 10
Description:  On the Greece Lumber spur. The main (track on the left) crosses Latta Rd. (a few hundred feet beyond this shot) and the Lake Ontario State Parkway on its way to the connection to the Hojack (NYC).

C&O GP30 3012 on today's local - pic 3 of 10
Title:  C&O GP30 3012 on today's local - pic 3 of 10
Description:  Southbound, about to cross Denise Rd. Both Denise and Britton Roads were protected by crossbucks only and the crews had more or less permanent "stop & flag" instructions because of the reduced sight lines. The family on the left (red fence) grew corn every year. Still a month or two from planting time.

Title:  C&O GP30 3012 on today's local - pic 4 of 10
Description:  Southbound, approaching Dock Junction. The docks have been closed for a couple of years, but the tracks are still in place. From right to left - the lead to the docks, a siding off the dock lead, the main, and another siding. Bennington Drive is out of sight to the left. The dock lead bridge over the NYC is out of sight behind me on the right.

Title:  C&O GP30 3012 on today's local - pic 5 of 10
Description:  Southbound with Dewey Ave. the next crossing (about a mile away). Note the Dock Junction BR&P era concrete phone booth. The stone appears to be dropped for the RG&E crews (new power poles on the right). The B&O's ballast was mostly cinders and certainly wasn't kept up after the docks closed.

Title:  C&O GP30 3012 on today's local - pic 6 of 10
Description:  Earlier that day, the crew worked Kodak. The last move left the Kodak go-aways tied down on the main while they went down to switch Greece Lumber. Note the switch is still lined from that last move.

Description:  The brakie has dropped off and is lining the switch for the main in order to add the Greece Lumber empties to the Kodak outbounds. Note the silver signal box on the right. Do you think Tim & Lynn are still a thing?

Description:  The train has been assembled, but there's still more switching to be done inside Kodak. The crew waits on the relatively "new" lead for the Kodak security guard. To the left, note the poplars are gone and Kodak has planted a string of pine trees. Note also the concrete BR&P era phone booth on the right.

Description:  About to cross the Ridge on the way home. In the foreground, note the remnants of the "old" lead into Kodak. Note also the brown building on the right (gone today). Do you think Chuckie & Colleen are still a thing?
